Greetings December 12, happy birthday Chu Ren choobs, a day that I can finally sit back and relax, in front of the com.
I found another job. Pretty amazing, only my second interview of my whole life and for both the interview I got selected. Is it that I have good interview skills or is it just that I'm lucky? ^^
But the flipside is, I'll be working everyday from now till end of dec. Mon to fri, at Ewiims. Fri sat sun nights at Sephora. Wow imma superwoman. I cfm will complain soon. But I must perservere.
Speaking about work, let's talk about my working experience at Sephora.
Initially I thought it would be fun to work in a shop that I love, able to understand the behind-the-scenes for Sephora. However, it's not as great as I thought. To think again, we always tend to see things in a perfect way that usually does not coincide with reality. On my first day there, I was so nervous, and the fact some people stare at you so bitchily doesn't help at all. But slowly, I came to realise that they are nice people behind those unfriendly looks, they just need time to get used to you. Yeah sure I made a few friends there, but only a few that I can really click with. Usually the rest are those 'Hello, how are you?' colleagues and the conversations between us usually last less than 5 min. Only a few people that I can really chat with and feel at ease, eg Ruby, En Noi, Angie etc. Through this experience I've learnt that you've gotta know how to deal with all the different kinds of people in the world, be it customers, colleagues or friends. Reality is harsh. ):
Other than tht, it's really B.O.R.I.N.G to stand there and do nothing! Esp in the morning when there's little or no customers at all, I walked around almost the entire Sephora (minus the makeup area cos it's too far away from my booth) testing the products to kill time, or finding people to chat with me. Sigh. Thank god my boss decreased the time so I just need to go at night when there's more customers! But this means lesser money too, but at least it will make the time in Sephora more bearable. :/
And.....I'm gna be working later! Sigh. Any kind souls come and visit me pls so that I wont be so bored?! And hopefully I can hit my sales target and get my commission heeeeeeez.
As for the job at Ewiim, it's a totally different environment. Think formal office wear, business related, suntec city. But I likeeeeeee! Hehe I kinda like things related to business. Ytd was my training, monday will be the date I'll be commencing work. I have to take calls, email, sms and attend to walk-in customers. I don't think it's as boring as it sounds after going through the training ytd. (I always had this mindset that admin jobs are damn boring, now my perspective has changed!) Had a motivational session with Dave Chong, was kinda interesting but yet in the middle of it I was almost lulled to sleep and had to struggle to stay awake by fidgeting hahaha. Like what he said, life is about perspectives. As long as you change your perspective on a certain thing, it would not be that intolerable anymore. I agreeeeeeee! But, easier to be said than done. Really hope that I won't do the wrong things when I start work! I want my pay rise!
I. Need. More. Formal. Wear. :/
Bishan's J8. Toa Payoh Ind Est. Novena's Velocity. Bedok Cc ktv. Marina sq's bowling and Jack's place. Orchard Ion Sephora. Bugis Junction. Bugis Street. Suntec City. Far East Plaza. Takashimaya. Wisma Atria. Cineleisure. Tampines 1. Tampines Mall. City Plaza.
Sephora. 5 pm. Sigh.
Listening to JS - Thank you - The Katinas (cover) now. They have such great voices!!!!!!!!! Jealousjealous.
On a random note, I can hear music booming again. It must be the blue van which comes to deliver goods to the coffeeshop downstairs every morning. They like their music loud man. Song playing: "You know you want me" Hhahahaahah, whenever I listen to this song I see Wyn dancing hahahaha.
I'm in the writing/blogging mood today so hence the long wordy post. :p
Picture of the day:

There's actually a book for Sephora too! :O
Meeting Peiying later to pass her the heavy pile of books and to eat Meesuaaaaaaaaaaaaa <3333 thn off to work. -.-

I was super angry just now and typed a short angry post.
But after Larry's advice I think I should not be so rash, why bother to waste my energy on those immature bratz and create unwanted trouble? I should just let them be, and let us lead our seperate lives.
But one thing's for sure: It's so annoying when they think so immaturely.
Nvm, I dont care~
I think i wna quit my job as soon as I've found an admin job. It's so boring in the day I dread going to work all the time! At night's slightly better cos there's more customers and the staff are not tht dead. So.....conclusion, it's back to job hunting again! This time it's for the money!! ^^
